Service Information & Disclaimer
An equine companionship visit (1 hour) is a structured, ground-based session focused on connection, emotional regulation, and wellness — no riding involved. Each session is individualized and may include: • Welcome & check-in (5–10 minutes): Brief emotional and physical wellness check, goal setting for the visit. • Guided interaction with the horse (30–40 minutes): Grooming, leading, gentle touch, observing herd behavior, and practicing calm, mindful presence around the horse. • Skill-building activities: Groundwork exercises that support confidence, boundaries, communication skills, and emotional awareness. • Reflection & wrap-up (5–10 minutes): Processing the experience, identifying strengths, and reinforcing coping strategies learned during the session. Equine companionship visits can support individuals experiencing anxiety, emotional stress, disabilities, or long-term health challenges by promoting mindfulness, confidence, connection, and a sense of accomplishment in a safe and supportive environment.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy At R.G Wellness and Care, we understand that unexpected situations arise. To ensure fairness to all clients and to respect scheduled time, the following cancellation policy applies: 1. Notice of Cancellation Clients are required to provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for any cancellation or rescheduling of services. 2. Late Cancellations Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be subject to a 50% service fee. 3. Same-Day Cancellations or No-Shows Same-day cancellations or missed appointments without notice will be charged 100% of the scheduled service fee. 4. Provider Cancellations & Reimbursement If services must be cancelled by R.G Wellness and Care due to illness, family emergency, or inclement weather, clients will receive a full reimbursement for any prepaid services or may choose to reschedule at no additional charge. 5. Emergency Situations We understand emergencies happen. Client late cancellation fees may be waived at the provider’s discretion in cases of sudden illness, hospitalization, or severe weather conditions. 6. Equine & Canine Visits Outdoor visits may be rescheduled due to unsafe weather conditions to ensure the safety of clients and animals. By booking services with R.G Wellness and Care, clients agree to the terms of this cancellation policy.
